The Borderline Cliched Dream I Dream

Okay I just have to post this little ditty.

The more I think about New York, the more I want to get there. I know, every aspiring small town actress wants to get to New York and be a star. I get that, I celebrate that, I'm one of those. But really, the more I think about it, the more I just want to move there, work a waitressing job, be IN New York, do little productions and usher on Broadway.

Take classes, experience the energy of the city and all of that theatre ingrained in that city. I honestly think that if I was told 'A comet's going to hit the earth in a week, destroying everything, what are you going to do?' I would go to New York. It probably wouldn't you know, be the last thing I'd do, since you know, I love my family and friends, but at least one or two of those days, I would plane to that little dreamland and spend some time soaking it in.

But let's not have a comet hit the Earth, okay? Let's just, grab a plane and go see the sights and the shows. Take some classes, breathe in that world.

And really, what other song would be here for your listenings with this post? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqlJl1LfDP4

And IIIIIII, Will Always Love Luuuu.

So, here it is. Roberto Luongo has asked to be traded away from the Vancouver Canucks.

I'll be honest, I'm kind of bummed out, and for a few different reasons.

It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when a goalie who has posted amazing numbers, helped Canada bring home a gold medal from the Olympics, the World Championships, and the World Cup, given his time and money away for charity work, and held his head high while fans in Vancouver berate him, asks to leave.

He was our captain at one point in time, and I will be sad to see #1 leave Rogers Arena.

Luongo, if you're out there, reading this blog, know that there are fans in this city that love you and have stuck by you the whole way. I send you the best regards for a positive experience wherever you end up.

Much love to you and your family, I'll have a few slices of pizza for you tonight!

KJSHKTOEAJSBSMBEHGHJJ - My 21 Reasons

So, I've just gotta say, in September, I started at Cap's Musical Theatre program. You know on your first day of school/new class where you wear your favourite outfit to make a good impression and try not to make any awkward jokes so you can hopefully make some friends? That was kind of like my first day. Lots of hand-shaking, try not to act like a TOTAL weirdo, and smile wide with a slight edge of 'Please like me'.

Then, today, 6 months TO THE DAY later, we are able to be total goofs in front of each other, take risks together, and I guess one could say I am just feeling incredibly blessed to be surrounded everyday by a great group of people who are caring, driven, quirky as hell, AND talented.

Just a happy little thing that I feel should be acknowledged since you know, they all inspire me and support me in ways I didn't know needed to be. There ain't just one solid reason why I should post this, there are 21. (KJSHKTOEAJSBSMBEHGHJJ)

And the corny song for the moment would be... (Inspired by The OC)
